Dashkasan is the main city of adistrict bordering Ganca. The region is situated to 1200-2000 m above the sea level, within the northern-west part of the Lesser Caucasus. The entrains of Dashkasan maintain fairy riches - natural resources that can glorify the whole country. There are deposits of iron ore, alunite, cobalt, copper, construction materials. The mining ore plant is operated here.
